Teacher Task List:

1. Pair the students in groups of two or three to take the WebQuest together. The students should work collaboratively to construct their knowledge of the State of New Jersey.

2. Visit the Process Page of this WebQuest, print the questions about New Jersey and distribute the questions to each group.

3. Provide classtime for each group to explore the WebQuest. Ask the students to work collaboratively to record their answers.

4. After the students have completed their answers to the questions, have a class discussion to share their new knowledge of New Jersey.

Student Task List:

1. Your teacher will assign groups of students to work together. Obtain a list of questions from your teacher. With your learning partners, visit each destination marked "Read more..." on the Introduction Page of the WebQuest.

2. Read and enjoy Flat Brendan's accounts of his travels through New Jersey.

3. As you visit each destination, work with your learning partners to find the correct answers to the list of questions.

4. Take a moment to discuss the answers with your teacher and the other students who have chosen to follow the WebQuest.

5. Share your new knowledge with the class!
